Dallas Cowboys vs Atlanta Falcons
The Dallas Cowboys will be going to face the Atlanta Falcons this Sunday almost a year to the day after they did in 2017 when Adrian Clayborn had the day of his life against Dak Prescott, courtesy of Chaz Green. Cowboys will be looking with high spirits who are looking to build off of the positive momentum that began last week with their win against the Philadelphia Eagles. That win in Philly was actually the first one on the in this season for the Cowboys. They scored 27 points which are a season-high away from AT&T Stadium, but the Falcons have scored at least 31 points in four of their five home games thus far. It’s likely going to take some points for Dallas to win. The Cowboys will be depending on the likes of Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, and Amari Cooper to light up the scoreboard. Their new wide receiver is already making a big impact, but he’s not the only legitimate one in this game, he’s not even the only one from his alma mater! Amari Cooper, Julio Jones, and Calvin Ridley will make three former wide receivers for the University of Alabama in a single NFL contest, it’s only fitting that it takes place at the home of the SEC Championship Game.
Matt Ryan will be difficult to slow down with receivers like that, but the Cowboys have defensive weapons ready to deploy. Leighton Vander Esch is coming off of a Defensive Player of the Week Performance, plus Jaylon Smith and DeMarcus Lawrence will help carry the weight along with the rest of the Cowboys defense.
